Wednesday 12th May and it’s official - Ashfield Community Enterprise
Ltd has been awarded over £400,000 by Big
Lottery Fund (BIG) to set up its business venture and will become a key
part of The Village SOS Learning Campaign that seeks to inspire enterprising
villages across the UK to take the bold step towards starting their own
community business.
Village SOS is a scheme by
Big Lottery Fund (BIG) and the BBC that aims to
inspire a rural revival across the UK, and is supporting new community-led business ventures that
will breathe new life into their areas, create new jobs and improve the quality
of life for local people.
